Most agents consider joining a team at some point. Usually when they first get started or maybe within the first year. Joining a team isn’t for everyone, but for some it’s a great way to accelerate the “on the job training” and quickly gain experience and mentorship.
It can be a trade off, but most agents that join (the right) team find that they quickly get more deals than they would have on their own. Making it more lucrative than being on their own even after the team split. Not to mention the learning curve goes much faster.
I started a team in the spring of 2021 and I’m so proud of all the agents that have helped us build and grow. Since a lot of new agents out there are asking the question, “Should I join a team?” I thought It would be great to get the perspective of agents that did decide to start on a team.
